Description
The Fire Protection Engineer-in-Training program will equip you with skills for a lasting career in Fire Protection. The Engineer-in-Training assists and supports day-to-day TEC projects and tasks. The duties of this position will vary daily and will require flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks. This position will work closely with the US Fire department on planning, implementation and evaluation of fire systems operations. Your Opportunity
As an Engineer-in-Training, you’ll:
- Use cutting-edge technology, including design software, fire and smoke modeling tools, and hydraulic analysis, to create systems that prevent fires, warn of danger, and enable safe evacuation.
- Identify fire risks and develop safeguards to protect lives and property.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, building officials, and fire departments to design fire-safe facilities and communities.
- Work with diverse clients in industries such as heavy industrial, commercial, high-rise residential, and power generation to create cost-effective fire and life safety solutions.
Your Qualifications
At Telgian, we are looking for Engineering graduates passionate about Fire Protection and pursuing professional licensure to help drive Telgian’s mission to save lives and property in partnership with our customers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering, required
- Adept at working on fast-paced projects and seeking a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
