As we continue to grow, we are seeking career-minded, highly skilled, dependable, and licensed Fire Alarm Technicians to join our team. We are currently looking for Fire Alarm Technicians in both our Lubbock, TX and Midland, TX locations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems. Experience with extinguishers, kitchen suppression systems, and Class A suppression is a plus. As an Autocall and Ansul dealer, we also service other systems, so versatility and knowledge in various fire alarm systems are highly valued. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and service fire alarm systems in commercial settings.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure systems are compliant with safety regulations and codes.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with fire alarm systems, including wiring, control panels, and other components.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, installations, and service activities.
- Stay up to date with fire alarm codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas FAL or NICET II/III certification as a Fire Alarm Technician.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with fire alarm systems.
- In-depth knowledge of fire alarm codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Experience in the installation and servicing of a variety of fire alarm systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in diverse environments.
- Must have a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and be insurable.
- Must pass drug screening and background check.
- Extinguisher license(s), kitchen suppression (R-102), and Class A suppression experience a plus!
- ERCES/BDA/DAS and RF Experience a plus!
- FCC GROL License a plus!
