Urgent need for Fire Suppression Technician in the Fayetteville, NC market
Perform service work and repairs of Kitchen Fire Suppression systems in accordance with NFPA and local Authority Having Jurisdiction.
Technician will need a deep understanding of multiple kitchen suppression systems, and what is needed to properly inspect, service, and repairs to these types of systems.
Typical Duties
Inspecting and repairing pre-engineered restaurant fire suppression systems manufactured by
ANSUL, Pyro Chem, RangeGuard, Kidde, protex, Amerex, Badger, Buckeye
Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting of fire suppression systems.
Thorough understanding of NFPA, manufacturer and local fire codes for restaurant fire suppression systems.
Qualifications
Two or more years' experience inspecting restaurant fire suppression systems preferred, but not required.
Thorough understanding of NFPA, manufacturer and local fire codes for restaurant fire suppression systems.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 21+ years of age, with valid driver's license & clean driving record Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be customer oriented.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. climb/work from ladders, work in confined spaces, and work over head
Must be able to work varied hours including early morning, occasional evenings, and weekend shift when needed. Ability to be on-call on rotation basis.
