Description
The Signaling Systems Designer is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and understanding fire alarm systems for coordination and design purposes; revise drawings as needed from quality control and/or AHJ/client reviews. Print, Plot and process drawings for internal and external use. Advise Senior Designers of potential issues or scheduling concerns due to changes and revisions.
Your Opportunity
- Design fire alarm systems using AutoCAD within the time constraints established by the task.
- Responsible for reviewing consulting documents, fire sprinkler drawings, survey documents and applying them to the fire alarm design.
- Responsible for sending out client deliverables.
- Responsible for putting drawing submittal packages together for submittal to the AHJ.
- Making changes to the fire alarm drawings from QC/peer reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications
- High School Degree is required
- 3 years of CAD experience
- 2 college or specialized training in CAD is preferred
- NICET Level I is required
- NICET Level II is preferred
- Revit experience is preferred
