Summary
Marketing Specialist must be a motivated self-starter and is responsible for ensuring that the highest level of customer service is provided to the Symons team as well as complete support through various clerical tasks requested by the Managers. This position requires the ability to multi-task at a high level.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities.
- Implement marketing plans that include print and online content.
- Create branded advertising campaigns.
- Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage.
- Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels.
- Create, maintain, and strengthen the organization’s overall brand through all media avenues.
- Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts.
- Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts, and other visual aids for clients and management.
- Conduct market research and identify trends.
- Ability to prioritize what is most important as well as shift priorities as needed.
- Design and create the company branding.
- Ability to manage and execute tasks on their own.
- Continual communication of tasks completed and update current progress.
- Audit outside companies for outsourcing needs such as PPC, SEO, etc.
- Photo streams through the office (Roku).
- Manage, order, and disperse company merch and SWAG designs.
- Manage the implementation of merch online store (if possible).
- Coordinate in prepping for vendor events.
- Videography and photography skills.
- Experienced use of CanvaPro and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Promoting company job listings on LinkedIn as well as boosting appropriate posts for the company.
- Create and design onboarding items/materials.
- Able to learn and use Cricut and Badgy200.
- Reliable and predictable attendance is required for the function of this job*

Education, Experience, And Skills Required
- Solid organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and web editing packages.
- Proven work experience as a Marketing Coordinator, or similar role
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management and Content Management System software
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
